For only $25 a month, children can start up their own “franchise-like” business through Franchild and subsequently start learning about business and life skills like quality control, time management, marketing and web development. Read the story about brothers Patrick, 8, and William, 6, whose small hand-rolled beeswax candle biz quickly increased their allowance (with only 15 minutes a day allowed by their parents to devote to their craft) and how it then bloomed into the concept of Franchild.
